06 Roussanne ‘Vendanges Tardives’- by far less spicy, both on the nose and palate, than the estate. More development into the flowers and fruit aspect. Nearly bone dry, with only 1.2% residual sugar, this is so concentrated that upon smelling it, one is expecting an experience of sweetness on the palate, but one only finds a suggestion of sweetness when the wine is actually tasted. ...

100% Riesling

Made in a classic style - emphasizing elegance with a delicate balance of sweetness and acidity (just 7.5% residual sugar). Glorious golden color. Orange marmalade and pear confit nose with the classic petroley complex aged Riesling aroma. Pine nutty with rich and intense mouth feel. Honeysuckle and a slight spice on the palate. A clean harmonious finish. ...

Deep golden color. Flavors of mango, pear, apricot and peach, toffee and marmalade. Unctuous with a long finish. Fully mature, drink now and over the next five years.

Pure Butterscotch! Rich, amber, medium-full weight and mouth-coating richness balanced with soft acidity. An aromatic complexity and delightful apricot and honeysuckle notes. This wine has a wonderful medley of flavors, excellent fruit, and a lengthy spiced finish.

Diana Werner, Gideon’s predecessor as winemaker, deserves all the praise for this beauty. Diana’s wines are noted for their delicate aromas and finely tuned balance of acid and sugar as represented here. With plenty of peach and pear, this is an amazing 16-year-old new release. The flavors lean towards tropical fruits with a long, long, refreshing finish. (750ml)
