Yellow-green in color, relatively pale for our Viognier. Quite an exuberant nose with gardenia, honeysuckle, white jasmine and melon. Medium bodied, very focused and not at all heavy. Ripe flavors of pomelo, grapefruit and guava. Refined and elegant in style with an alertness given by the acidity.

"Sacramento Bee" - Mike Dunne - 05.02.07

The bright and juicy Renaissance 2006 Sierra Foothills North Yuba Viognier, abundant with honeysuckle, apple and peach.

"A bright yellow-gold in color, this wine smells of apricots and candied kumquats. In the mouth it has a classic oily texture that is often found with Viognier, and beautiful bright acidity that holds flavors of peaches in light syrup that through a long and satisfying finish."

Score: around 9
