2000 Cabernet Sauvignon 'Vin de Terroir'

Deep, saturated color to the rim. A gorgeous, deep, ripe red fruit bouquet (berry, cherry, & plum) with the telltale mineral notes of our Renaissance terroir, and cocoa powder. On the palate, more density than on the nose with a noticeable 'dusty' quality - very deep, rich, underlying, concentrated fruit and noticeable tannins which will assist long aging (15-20 yrs.) With an elegance similar to the 99 vintage of this wine, the 2000 has a more fruit forward quality than most of our reserve-level reds.
