Founded in 1978, Renaissance wines are best known for their uncompromising expression of terroir and distinctive style.
Winemaker Gideon Beinstock handcrafts estate-bottled wines in a traditional European style.
The Sierra Foothills vineyard is organically cultivated. Elevations range from 1,700 to 2,300 feet.
After 30 years of extensive experimentation, Renaissance now focuses on limited production of the Bordeaux and Rhone families of varietals.
Our vineyard and winery is situated 70 miles North of Sacramento in Oregon House, California and our staff welcome your visit at our lakeside Tasting Room Monday - Saturday. Please see our Tours & Tastings for details.

North Yuba, Sierra Foothills, California

From an unheralded AVA (American Viticultural Area), Renaissance produces minuscule amounts of remarkably pure and intense wines; most see NO NEW OAK and the alcohol levels are all UNDER 14 PERCENT. The wine ages 26 months in barrels and puncheons that are one to six-years-old; the wine see NO new oak. No sulfur dioxide is added during the maturing process...
