Shipping Info

Renaissance Vineyard & Winery provides a shipping & handling service that is as efficient and economical as possible. We charge you what it costs us to have your wine packed and shipped safely and legally. Most orders ship within 36 hours. However, state regulations and the perishable nature of wine, sometimes prevent us from being as prompt as we would like.

For orders going to the eastern United States, we will not ship your order using UPS Ground Service if the temperature anywhere along the shipping route is under 35 degrees or over 85 degrees in order to protect the wine you have purchased from us.

Thus winter and summer shipments are weather- restricted, unless you choose to expedite your shipment using express service, in which case we will inform you of the additional shipping cost.

We advise shipping to a commercial address for two reasons: it is cheaper and more reliable, since at work places, even in your absence, another adult (over 21 years of age) can sign for you and receive your shipment. By law, an adult signature is required upon delivery.

If shipping to a residence, please check the UPS tracking information that will be e-mailed to you when we ship your wine order out. That way you can arrange for an adult to be at the residence on the scheduled delivery date.

Alcoholic beverages may be sold and delivered only to persons who are at least 21 years of age, and in placing your order with us you represent that you are at least 21 years old.

Most states now require the collection and remittance of sales and/or excise taxes. If your state one of them, we will calculate them for you and include them in your total charges to your credit card. Your emailed order confirmation will detail your charges.

For the Wine Club and Pre-Release Club Shipments: your credit card will be charged on the 15th day of the club-shipment month. The wine will be shipped within one week from that date unless the weather conditions do not permit. In this case the wine will be stored in our cellar free of charge and will be shipped at the first possible opportunity.
